Jenga Tanzania
Jenga Tanzania aims to build and/or refurbish necessary structures for communities and individuals in need. They have focused their current project around women’s rights, helping women to become more independent. Jenga invites GISS delegates to participate in decorating a house that will ultimately be used as a daycare facility run by local women, enabling them to be more financially and socially independent. Delegates will be involved in activities that include furnishing, plastering walls, installing solar panels as a sustainable source of energy for the house, and painting a mural regarding the theme of women’s rights.
